CERES Links

Welcome to our page of links. We have endeavoured to be selective, and only to include sites that are rich in content or in links to content, and not only lists of links to other lists of links. Alongside each item is an internal link, marked with an open book , that will lead you to an up-to-date commentary on the associated link, including summary of contents and review; to return to the links page, simply close the commentary window. Many more sites are listed and reviewed in the CERES Digests and past issues of Harvest than are mentioned here, and extensive reviews of most of the sites listed on this page are also found there. So take a trip to our Archive, or try our search facility. And we hope that these links will be useful.

The links stored here are grouped under the following headings. Please choose from the menu or browse by scrolling down.

General Authors Journals Libraries Databases Reference Electronic Texts

A note about access: a few sites (e.g. LION, OCLC) restrict access to subscribing institutions/individuals. Where this is the case, you may have no problem getting in, if your institution subscribes, and all computers within a certain domain have access. Or you may be asked for a password. If this happens it may be possible to go via a link at the pages of the subscribing institution (your University Library, typically) which will bypass the password page. Or you may need to get a password from your Institution. Where a service has parallel servers in different countries (typically one in USA, one in UK), you may find that you are welcome only at the server closest to your country.
