Jasmine Jagger (Wolfson Scholar Graduate Student, and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Faculty of English, University of Oxford) and Dr. Matthew Bevis (Associate Professor, Oxford) have curated and designed an online exhibition on the relationship between Edward Lear and the Tennyson family. The exhibition results from an examination of the entire collection of letters (over 200) and objects (including several rare volumes and artworks) passed between Lear and the Tennysons over the course of their lifetimes. The material, largely neglected by scholarship and unseen by the general public, is presented in partnership with the AHRC and Tennyson Research Centre Lincoln, and will be available at www.learicaltennysons.co.uk from September 2017.
