Dr Laura Wright will be a plenary speaker at the 3rd Southern Englishes Workshop at University College London on February 19-20 2016. Hosted by the Linguistics Department at UCL, the Workshop will explore historical and synchronic dialectology, historical and synchronic sociolinguistics, language contact, multilingualism, dialect in literature, and other areas relevant to English and varieties of English in the south of England.
