Kilcolman Castle Reconstructed

Visit Centering Spenser: A Digital Resource for Kilcolman Castle to tour a virtual reconstruction of Spenser’s house and grounds in County Cork. Built by a team at East Carolina University under the leadership of Thomas Herron, the site offers multi-media access for exploring the environments in which Spenser and the members of his household conducted their daily lives.  The site draws on a wealth of recent historical, biographical, and archeological research to situate Spenser’s life and his writings in the physical and cultural landscapes of early modern Ireland.
