As you may already be aware, the University of Cambridge has an EES agreement with Microsoft, This gives members of the university of Cambridge (Please go here to see who that means) access to many Microsoft products. Today’s post is focused on OneDrive for Business.
What is OneDrive for Business?
One drive for business is a cloud based storage solution, when you save a file to it, it’s being stored on a remote server maintained by Microsoft, its nature of being cloud-based means that the documents can be accessed from any device that has an Internet Connection.
How much space do I get?
Every user entitled to OneDrive for Business gets 1TB of space.
What Devices are supported?
Supported devices include: Devices running windows (7 and later recommended) Devices running OS X (10.9 mavericks and later) IOS devices and Android. There is also support for MCS machines in the university.
How can I get set up?
Initially look here – And find your type of Device in the list for a How to guide. If you’re unable to complete setup please come by the IT office and we can help you. You’ll need to reset your UIS Password before you’re able to get set up.
