Biographical Information

I am an MPhil student of Anglo-Saxon, Norse & Celtic at Pembroke College, generously funded by the Cambridge Trust. At undergraduate level, I studied English & Related Literature at the University of York, specialising in ecocriticism and mediaeval literature and languages by third year. I studied Old English, palaeography and mediaeval literary themes and styles during my time on the MPhil.

Research Interests

I am interested in ecocriticism, the study of ecothought within literature as a way to excavate the relationship of a person to place. My literary foci include Old English and Mediaeval Latin texts (especially Anglo-Latin), with a consideration of manuscript evidence.
