Call for Papers: “Reflections”

“Reflections”
22nd Annual Meeting of the British Women Writers Conference
Binghamton University, State University of New York, June 19-21, 2014

The organisers invite proposals for papers and panels that address the theme of “Reflections” and apply to the long eighteenth or nineteenth centuries, Romantic or Victorian women’s literature. The deadline for submissions is 1st January 2014.

“Ann Radcliffe at 250: Gothic and Romantic Imaginations”
An international conference to celebrate the 250th birthday of Ann Radcliffe
University of Sheffield, June 27-29, 2014

Keynote speakers:
Emma Clery (University of Southampton)
Fred Botting (Kingston University)
Jane Stabler (University of St Andrews)

The conference will also celebrate the launch of a collection of essays upon Radcliffe’s work (eds. Townshend and Wright, CUP 2014).
