  Gavin Alexander's transcription of a portion of the manuscript continuation of The Countess of Montgomery's Urania (Newberry Library, Chicago, Case MS fY 1565. W 95).
In the transcribed section, Philarchos tells his story to his sister Pamphilia and Veralinda, the wife of her cousin Leonius [taken from vol. 1 ('the first booke, of the secound parte of the Countess of Mountgomeries Urania', I, 35a.].


  Wroth's response to the verses written by Sir Edward Denny on the publication of the Urania.
