Martin Mueller, Professor emeritus of English and Classics at Northwestern University, has recently pointed out a new resource for scholars. Craig Berry and the Spenser shop at Washington University in St. Louis developed this tool designed for the collaborative curation of known defects in EEBO-TCP texts. The tagline is “Find it, fix it, log it.”

Professor Mueller states, “As it now stands, the tool is limited to Early Modern plays, but in principle it could work with any group of EEBO-TCP texts that some Early Modern data community would like to clean up along the model of  ‘Adopt a Highway’ projects. 

And this is a quite simple machine for finding and fixing a lot of the most common textual defects.”
