Consciousness at Wellcome

Another busy spell as March gets going and term reaches its boiling point. As usual, though, there is something to notice in the gap between longer posts. (There’s one in the pipeline, but not about Impulsivity yet, despite my New Year resolution; more characteristically, it’s going to be about ‘Slowness’ in cognition.) A new show at the Wellcome Collection in London puts together art and psychology, focusing especially on the fringes of consciousness. The exhibition website is here and there is a long and detailed article about it on the BBC website here. I should definitely go. It’s on until October so perhaps even I can find the exit velocity required…
