Alastair Bennett (Royal Holloway, University of London) gave a stimulating paper to the Medieval Research Seminar on ‘”Vox in choro, mens in foro”: distracted prayer and divided selves in some medieval rules for living and Piers Plowman’ on Wednesday 21 January.
