Response to Spenser 2015 in Dublin has been very good, with over 130 papers scheduled and extra rooms added for accommodation at Trinity College Dublin and area hotels. Added events include walking tours of the medieval town center. Because the conference begins on Thursday morning, June 18, participants are encouraged to stay in Dublin Wednesday night, June 17. For those in town that Wednesday, Thomas Herron will be leading informal, pay-as-you-go tours of Dublin-area historic sites Rathfarnham Castle and Maynooth Castle, departing the gates of Trinity College, Dublin at 9AM (Rathfarnham) and 2pm(Maynooth). Transportation by local bus and train service.
All are welcome to join. Please send Herron an e-mail at least a week prior to the conference if you are interested in joining the group for either tour (herront@ecu.edu).
We hope to see you there! Here’s a link to the CFP.
