Biographical Information

I read MML at the University of Cambridge (2013–17), including a year abroad at the Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris studying History of Art (2016). After completing an MA in History of Art at the Courtauld Institute of Art, I spent a year at Harvard University as a Herchel Smith Scholar. Alongside my PhD, I have worked as a Curatorial Assistant at Kettle's Yard.

Research Interests

The South Asian diaspora in the British Black Arts Movement, in British Black intellectual production, and in British Black feminist and lesbian organising. These interests span 1950–present, but my PhD focuses on the 1980s.
