Biographical Information

I hold a Bachelor's in English from Kirorimal College, University of Delhi, and a Master's in English from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Previously, I served as a guest lecturer at Zakir Hussain Delhi College, University of Delhi, before pursuing my PhD at Cambridge. I'm also an Urdu-to-English translator.

Research Interests

My research interests include slavery narratives, South Asian literature, the interplay of history and literature, historical fiction, and the connections between the Black Atlantic and the Indian Ocean. I have previously worked on Hindi-Urdu travelogues.
