Biographical Information

Leonardo Impett grew up in Cambridge, where he studied Engineering. He did his PhD at the Image and Visual Representation Lab, EPFL. He was previously Digital Humanities Fellow at Villa I Tatti, Florence; Digital Humanities Scientist at the Bibliotheca Hertziana - Max Planck Institute for Art History, Rome; and lecturer in Computer Science at Durham University, within the Artificial Intelligence and Human Systems group. 

Research Interests

Digital humanities; computational humanities; computer vision and visual studies / art history; bias/fairness/ideology in machine learning systems.
