Biographical Information

Kit (he/him) is a PhD student at St Catharine's, working with Dr Ben Guy and Prof Richard Dance. He is researching the Arthur legend in England and Wales between 1200–1400, with a particular focus on the political and social implications of telling Arthurian stories. He completed both a BA and MPhil in the ASNC Department, graduating in 2022 and 2023 respectively. 

Research Interests

Kit's research interests focus on Arthur and Arthurian stories, primarily through a historicist lens. He also thinks about performance theory, translation theory, and the potential for pedagogy.

Outside of his dissertation, he is interested in heroic ages and heroes, speech act theory, and feminist analysis of medieval accounts of queenship.
