Biographical Information

I completed my BA in History and English at Durham in 2018, where I developed a particular interest in pre-Conquest history and culture. For the academic year 2018-2019, I moved to Oxford and completed an MSt in English (650-1550) at Lincoln College (funded by a Kingsgate Bursary). I wrote my dissertation on the influence of Alfredian texts on Archbishop Wulfstan’s legislation during the reign of Cnut.

I am now in the first year of a PhD on memory and historiography in early medieval England in the tenth and eleventh centuries, funded by the OOC AHRC DTP - Corpus Christi Match-funded Studentship.
