Biographical Information

I am a Cambridge International and Hughes Hall Scholar in the Faculty of English at the University of Cambridge. My research focuses on contemporary cultural production by South Asian women on digital platforms and is supported by the Cambridge Trust and Hughes Hall Scholarship. 

I currently co-convene the Postcolonial and Related Literatures (PARL) seminar for the Faculty of English and have held the role of Academic Officer at Hughes Hall MCR. I have supervised for Postcolonial and Related Literatures, Gonville and Caius CHAS outreach, and Sutton Trust Summer School. I welcome supervision queries for Practical Criticism, Part 1B Paper 7B, Part II Papers 12, 13, and 18, and dissertations for Part I and Part II. I am also happy to be involved in outreach, consultancy, and other public engagements.

Research Interests

Digital platforms studies, comedy, interactive fiction, game studies, intermediality, performance or protest poetry, digital aesthetics, postcolonial theory and literature, Empire, South Asian literature, diaspora literature, visual and material culture, theories of marginalisation, and gender studies.
