At the last meeting of this seminar, held on 30 November, Professor David McKitterick (Trinity College, Cambridge) spoke on `Libraries at risk’. He looked at a number of recent cases concerning historic collections in British libraries which have either been sold off, often without warning, or were/are at risk of dispersal.
