A choreographer and dancer explore movement responses to the feminist dialogue between Mina Loy and Valentine de Saint-Point. Part performance lecture, part live-action choreographic creation a new dance work will emerge as Saint-Point's Manifesto of Futurist Woman (1912) and Mina Loy's response Feminist Manifesto (1914) are read aloud. Keeping in mind Saint-Point's distinctive theory of metachory, a cross-media form of performative dance, the choreography will also draw on Loy and Saint-Point's favourite composers: Debussy, Roland Manuel and Satie.
