A recent postgraduate project translating Alá Flekks saga unearthed structural aspects that suggest that the author was adapting an early version of Snow White to the saga style, complete with a re-gendering of the protagonist and a rich tapestry of folklore, chivalric literature and the supernatural. This talk explains how this saga fits into the Snow White tradition.
