The Sweet Setup for Research: Digital tools for literary researchers

Event
18th June 2018
14:00 - 18:00
GR06/07

Come along on Monday the 18th of June (next week) at 2 pm, GR06/07, to hear some short talks about how others at the Faculty use various software and apps to help them do their research more efficiently.

We'll be talking about referencing and writing, yes, but also hardware and backup, scanning and manuscript analysis, task management and attention management. The idea is to get us talking about what works, what doesn't work and why.

After the talks, our speakers will be there with their computers set up, so that everyone will get the chance to ask further questions and see how the apps and solutions that caught their interest work in detail.

The University Information Service will also be there and can answer questions about Researcher IDs, Web of Science, EndNote and more. Mendeley/Elsevier will have a station where you can view their reference manager in action, and a distributor of scanner pens will have some available for you to try out.
