The University of Cambridge Faculty of English and Department of History and Philosophy of Science, alongside Cambridge University Library and the University Museum of Zoology Cambridge are pleased to announce a fully-funded Collaborative doctoral studentship, from October 2026, under the AHRC’s Collaborative Doctoral Partnership Scheme.
This project will be jointly supervised by:
- Dr Ruth Abbott (Faculty of English, University of Cambridge)
- Dr Jill Whitelock (Cambridge University Library)
- Professor Staffan Müller-Wille (Department of History and Philosophy of Science, University of Cambridge)
- Professor Edgar Turner (Department of Zoology, University of Cambridge and University Museum of Zoology)
Eligibility headlines
- We encourage applications from a diverse range of people, from different backgrounds and career stages.
- Students should have a Masters Degree in a relevant subject by the start date or demonstrate relevant equivalent experience.
- The studentship is open to both home and international applicants and all fees will be covered.
- The studentship can be studied either full or part-time.
