Please join us for a symposium celebrating the British Modernist poet Basil Bunting with papers from established and newer Bunting scholars. The keynote speaker will be Dr Alex Niven, who edited the first edition of Bunting’s letters last year, published by OUP. On the evening of the 3rd, we are holding a performance of Bunting’s great, long poem ‘Briggflatts’ in the Judith E Wilson Drama Studio at the Faculty. Recited by a professional actor and accompanied by a professional harpsichordist, as Bunting insisted, the performance should be a real treat for poetry fans.
