Professor Michael D. Hurley has been made a Visiting Professor at the Sorbonne

As Visiting Professor at the University of Paris-Sorbonne, Professor Hurley will offer lectures and seminars across a broad curriculum. The Professorship is also an opportunity to engage with the University’s postgraduate research community, and to collaborate with academic staff in the Faculté des Lettres, notably Professor Alexis Tadié, with whom Professor Hurley shares cross-disciplinary interests in literature and philosophy.

“It is an honour to be invited to be a Visiting Professor at one of the world’s most distinguished universities in the humanities. I am delighted to help strengthen ties between the English Faculty at Cambridge and the Arts and Humanities at the University of Paris-Sorbonne.” (Prof. Hurley)
