Francesca Gardner’s short film, based on her research into light, commonplacing, and the literary essay, will be shown for the first time at the launch of this year’s Cambridge Festival at West Hub on 13th March.
The film, titled ‘Making Light of Essays | Making Essays of Light’, was made in collaboration with creative professional Sarah Gomes Harris for Cambridge Creative Encounters, a project which brings together researchers and creative professionals to produce creative responses to research in a variety of media. The CCE Exhibition then runs from 14th-27th March.
Francesca Gardner is a PhD student at St Catharine’s College and the Faculty of English.
