Audrey Chan has been awarded the Blake Emerging Scholar Award and Jim and Nancy Hinkle Student Travel Grant by the Hemingway Society to support her conference presentation and her research on the author’s relationship with the visual arts. St. John’s College has offered her the Noonan Award and Frank Hollick Fund for her research trips to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library in Boston as well as the Joan Miró Foundation and Museo Reina Sofía in Spain. Her painting In the Mood for Love has also been selected as the winner of her college’s Student Art and Photography Competition.
