Jessica Lim (Faculty of English) co-convened the symposium ‘The Children’s Book as Material Object’ with Jen Aggleton (Faculty of Education) on Wednesday 10 May. There were over 60 attendees, with presenters flying in from North America and Poland. The symposium included a keynote by Philip Nel from Kansas State University; an exhibition display set up by the Cambridge University Library; and a bookshop. The symposium was held at Homerton College and was supported by the Faculty of English and the CMT.
