Dr Jessica Berenbeim’s new book is part of a collaboration with curators at the British Museum. It looks at the constitutive role of seals and sealing in hierarchies of social, institutional, and representational status, and also complements the Museum’s ongoing digitisation programme to widen access to this important collection.
