‘Paper and Poetry: Invention Through Craft’ symposium receives a Judith E Wilson Practice-led Research Grant

The Paper and Poetry team is delighted to have been granted a Judith Wilson practice-led research grant for Paper and Poetry: Invention Through Craft: a symposium for academics and creative writers who work with paper.
The Paper and Poetry team is made up of Orietta Da Rold (professor of medieval literature), Vona Groarke (poet-in-residence at St John’s College), Tom Frith-Powell (paper maker at the Paper Foundation in Cumbria), and Georgina Wilson (research fellow in early modern literature). The symposium will consist of a day of paper-making, followed by a day of roundtable discussions and critical-creative responses. The call for participants will go out in the next month, and the team look forward to the conversations and outcomes that will ensue.
