Teaching Associate in Postcolonial Literature and/or Literature of the Global South [Temporary Cover]

The Faculty of English wishes to appoint a full time temporary Teaching Associate in Postcolonial Literature and/or the Literature of the Global South for 12 months from 1st September 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter but no later than 1st October 2023.The Teaching Associate will be expected to teach, examine and supervise dissertations on topics related to Postcolonial Literature and/or the Literature of the Global South at undergraduate and MPhil level. They will join a team including Dr Julia Hori, Dr Chana Morgenstern, and Dr Chris Warnes.Applicants should have a good first degree and a doctorate (awarded, or thesis submitted before 1st October 2023) in a relevant subject area. It is expected that applicants will have experience of successfully delivering and developing teaching at University level, including lectures, seminars and small group teaching, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Temporary cover: This post is fixed-term for 12 months.
